This policy explains what information Sarahah collects, why it is used, and the choices available to you when you use our quizzes, results, accounts, and administrative features.
Information collected
When you take a quiz, Sarahah may collect your answers, result, age bracket, gender, language, country, IP address, and information about your use of the service. If you create an account, we also collect the information needed to create, secure, and manage it. Limited technical information may be collected to protect the service, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
How information is used
We use information to provide quizzes and results, remember relevant preferences, maintain result history for signed-in users, produce aggregate comparisons, improve and maintain the stability of the service, protect Sarahah from abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access, and comply with legal obligations.
Cookies and similar technologies
Sarahah uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your participation, support quiz functionality, maintain security, and understand how the service is used. Some cookies are necessary for the service to work correctly.
Analytics and service providers
We may use trusted service providers for functions such as security, abuse prevention, hosting, and analytics. These providers may process limited information on our behalf under their own privacy terms. We do not intentionally send quiz answers or passwords to analytics providers.
Results and statistics
Anyone with a result link may be able to view that result, so you should treat the link as shareable. Quiz answers are used to calculate results and may contribute to aggregate statistics. Percentages and percentiles are not shown until a comparison includes at least 50 accepted responses, which helps avoid publishing statistics about very small groups.
Information sharing
We may share information with service providers that help us operate Sarahah, when required by law, or when necessary to protect Sarahah, our users, or the public.
Retention, security, and your choices
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain accurate statistics, meet legal obligations, and protect Sarahah. We use appropriate measures to protect information, although no online service can guarantee complete security. You can delete an eligible account from your account settings. Quiz submissions may remain in deidentified form, and previously shared result links may remain accessible.
